I love Miami.

While I’m a Northerner and will always prefer NYC if publicly asked to choose between it and any other American city, I will always secretly love Miami. The architecture is classic, the weather is wonderful, the sky is absolutely gorgeous, and PALM TREES are… well… PALM TREES and totally awesome!

Mahroo and I met Aishah and Waleed for their session at a small park. This was a mixture of a couple’s session and a family session as Aishah wanted to take some time out to shoot pictures of their daughter Aaliyah. From the location to the lighting of the day – everything worked out really well. Aishah and Waleed are a fabulous couple and along with their daughter, they make a beautiful family.

Since posting about our 2010 Godiva Thank You Cards, I was thinking about what more we can do for our fabulous clients and Mahroo had some awesome ideas.

Our previous clients will be getting two cards mailed to them. The first is an appreciation card with some awesome deals they can use for themselves. The second is the S2S Referral Card that they can gift to any of their family or friends who are getting married. This makes for an awesome gift and allows our previous clients to share the gift of beautiful wedding imagery with their loved ones.

We are also starting to offer wedding registries to all of our new clients. Clients can now setup a list of photography products that they want and allow family and friends to purchase these items as wedding gifts. For more details, please contact us.

We’re in the people business – making people happy, comfortable, and feel beautiful. We document the happiness of people, the love that binds people, and the connection between people. I was talking to Mahroo about the importance of connectivity and we realized that we would love to connect with our awesome readers. So, I got to work and made some updates to the blog.

There is a “Tweet This” and a “Facebook” button located at the bottom right of posts (right before the comments area). When I put up a blog post, our readers can now share the post with their family and friends on Twitter and Facebook. This makes it really easy for clients and S2S fans to showcase the pictures and posts they love. Also, visiting the “Links” tab above on the menu bar will show options to add me as a friend on Facebook and to follow S2S on Twitter.
