Essentials of the Job | Cologne

Wedding photography is – and this is going to sound so cliche`- so much more than just taking nice pictures. It truly is one of the most challenging things I, personally, have had to do. From putting yourself out there to dealing with dynamic situations, a wedding photographer goes through so many experiences that certain things become essentials of the work. These things are beyond the realm of photographic equipment and take so many different shapes and forms. I’ve decided to, every now and then, toss up one of these things up on the blog and discuss why it is important to me (some of them are going to seem quite interesting).

Today’s item is cologne.

Some of these weddings are marathons – especially the three day Southeast Asian weddings that can come up to 20+ hours of shooting. Lets face it, a guy has to stay cool – and the most important part of being cool is smelling nice. The right cologne can make the greatest difference and can come through in the most significant of ways.
