Julia + Stephen | Wedding

It’s not everyday that I come home from a full day of shooting and actually start to miss the clients I was working with. However, Julia and Stephen are one couple that I literally missed as soon as I stepped into my place. Both of them and their families are absolutely wonderful and this was, by far, one of my most favorite weddings to date. Julia is just charming – I truly have no other word to describe her but charming – and both families are extremely classy. Also, Julia is expecting a baby girl later this year – another blessing both families are really excited about. Some times you just get those rare clients that make you fall in love with what you do all over again…

The wedding was held at a country club that used to be an old plantation. The mansion, in which the wedding was held, had been moved onto the location by an aristocratic English woman. The ceremony took place on the lawn followed by a reception in the dining area and porch. The day was gorgeous and the light towards sunset made for some lovely pictures.

I added something new – because there were so many great pictures, I wanted to blog about more than just my top favorites. So, I’ve placed a slideshow featuring a lot more at the end of the post – be sure to check it out by clicking on the last image in the post.

And here’s the slideshow. Enjoy!

You did a beautiful job with these pictures, would love to see some of the mother and daughter together.

Your shots of our granddaughter/flower girl, Delilah are wonderful.

taiyyaba - i love the picture of the bride shining in the doorway – the figurative glow of happiness is reflected in the perfect light composition of the shot. it’s between that and the one of her on the balcony for my favorite shot.

and omg. the flowergirl. well, she’s just cute – you didn’t have anything to do with that.

Ali Bignell - Saad, these photos are beautiful! I know Julia will be so happy with them. I’ll also get to show my friends in the UK photos of the ceremony now.
